Madison Heights City Council Photo Contest

As part of the website redesign project, the internal design comitee of Madison Heights hosted a contest among residensts and employees in an attempt to generate high definition, quality photos to be used in their redesign. "Adventures of Duke and Lucy" recieved 3rd prize from Mayor Brian C. Hartwell and The Madison Heights City Counsil.

Official Movement Afterparties

One of Chris Ahern Photography's most recognized shots, "Hart of the Plaza" was purchased by the official afterparties of the Movement Festival in Detroit.  Chris's work was featured on flyers, advertisements, banners, even an LED lit truck that drove around Detroit with the iconic picture flashing.

Canvas Pontiac Award Winner

"Sunset at James Scott Memorial Fountain" by Chris Ahern Photography was an award winner at the Canvas Pontiac Awards, judged by a panel from the Detroit Institute of Arts.  It could also be seen on the building located at Woodward and Pike.

"Best Of Photography" Publication, Photographers Forum

Chris Ahern Photography has been featured in Photographers Forum’s “Best Of Photography” annual hardcover coffee table book. His work was included in the top 9% out of over 9,100 images from the US and Canada as well as 46 other countries worldwide. This book is sold to photographers, college libraries, institutions of photography, art, and graphic design.
